Community Services Village welcomes First Years Child Care to their new location.
The centre opened its doors at the newly renovated site on Sept 6, 2005.
 A colourful preschool section with a library, science and play house keeping area, a special room for school aged children and a beautiful nursery are a few of the features First Years Child Care Director Vera Gentile will point out during a tour of the warm, safe and caring environment she has helped create at the new Community Services Village.
The program offers children many activities to participate in such as art, dramatic play, language art and music experiences. Trained caring staff encourage and assist with exploration, experimentation and creativity. A large out door play area helps the children work up a big appetite for the hot nutritious meals that are prepared for them in the large kitchen.
The air conditioned centre has spaces for 60 children from the ages of 6 wks to 12 years.
42 spaces are offered to the general public, 12 spaces are reserved for clients attending the Food Bank’s ACERT programs and 6 spaces are dedicated to KidsFirst Regina Program which provides support and services for families in targeted high needs communities.
