Corporate Partnerships
are essential to long term solutions!

The Community Services Village and the Regina & District Food Bank are committed to working with all stakeholders towards long-term solutions that address hunger and poverty. Every corporate partnership is important to this campaign. Your financial support will bring dignity and hope to families in Regina and surrounding communities.

We urge you to join us in supporting the
Community Services Village
Capital Campaign!

The Capital Campaign funds will be used for necessary upgrades, improvements, renovations to provide for improved space for the Food Bank, the Adult Centre for Employment Readiness and Training (ACERT) and the other community based organizations who have co-located at the Community Services Village.

The Project

We are engaged in creating a unique facility. The Community Services Village houses a renewed Regina & District Food Bank along with other organizations that share a common vision. Together, we are creating an integrated sustainable centre for meeting social needs, building independent lives and strengthening families. It is a solution-oriented model for improving people’s lives and building greater hope in our community.

The growing community need is what drives our passion.

Project Cost

The estimated cost of the Community Services Village Project is $3.5 million. Of this amount, $2.5 million will provide for necessary upgrades, improvements and renovations to the Food Bank, the Adult Centre for Employment Readiness and Training (ACERT) and the other community based organizations who have co-located at the Community Services Village.

capital campaign 203

  • Construction costs within three buildings will exceed $1.8 M.
  • Over $230,000 is needed for equipment to meet growing demands at the Food Bank and its Skills Development Centre.
  • Tenant improvements are needed to accommodate incoming affiliates - $374,000.
  • $1M will be raised to create a legacy fund that supports future programs and facility operations.

Bringing together partners is a powerful antidote for hunger and poverty.  Everyone deserves a fair chance to succeed in life and breaking the cycle of poverty in the future demands investment in our community now.

Creative partnerships are critical to our long-term success!

Sustainability through Partnerships

capital campaign 302

All space suitable for leasing in the new “Community Services Village” facility has been rented to like minded affiliates. Tenants began moving into the facility as of September, 2005.  Successful partnerships with current and potential future tenants in the two principal buildings will ensure that operations at the “Community Services Village” facility remain sustainable.

Space in some of the smaller outlying buildings will be rented and some used for storage only, requiring minimal operating costs. Future tenant concepts under discussion include a primary medical care centre, an Aboriginal wellness centre, an employment centre and a community not-for-profit grocery store.
